There are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved and/or hang out with fellow Marines.

If you are anyone else wishing to join as an associate member (family members, members of the community, etc) you only need to believe in our mission and pay the annual Dues of $25. We are excited to be a part of the Plano Balloon Festival this year. It will be a weekend full of entertainment and things to do for the whole family.

The main attraction of course is the 30 hot air balloons of various shapes and sizes. There are also races; a 10k, 5k and 1k fun run/walk. The fun doesn't stop there. Enjoy balloon rides, live music, a kid zone with rides & other activities, sky divers, food, vendors, and more.

The Marine Corps League will be set up with informational material about who we are, what we do and how you can become a member or support the League.

We will also have our full selections of military/veteran themed hats, challenge coins, T-shirts, water bottles, koozies, other items, and of course raffle tickets for our current raffle. Come by our booth to support local veterans

We look forward to being able to share this Marine Corps tradition again after having to cancel last year.  Again we are inviting the local community to join us for this elegant evening of rich military history, tradition, and ceremony.

The Marine Corps Birthday Ball is our biggest event of the year and serves the purpose of carrying on history and tradition. The Ball also serves as a major fundraising event for the Collin County Marine Corps League.  Funds raised through this event assist us in our mission of supporting local Marines, FMF Corpsmen, and their families.  It also allows us to support other veteran initiatives that are in line with our mission.  For far this year the Marine Corps League of Collin County has provided financial assistance to several Marines, supported the Homeless Veterans Services of Dallas, donated to erecting the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument in Frisco, and awarded three $2500 scholarships. Funds raised by the detachment also helped support our Toys For Tots campaign, that provided a Christmas to over 21,000 children in Collin County this past season.

Sponsorship opportunities are open.  For more information about the Marine Corps League, the Marine Corps Birthday Ball or sponsoring this unique event and supporting Marines, FMF Corpsmen, their families plus other veteran initiatives please contact
